This review is focusing on the main leads love story.

Luo Zhi (Zhu Yan Man Zi) meets Sheng Haui Nan (Zhao Shun Ran) their sophomore year of college. However, it was not the first time they met each other as a matter of fact; they went to high school together. Sheng Haui Nan never saw Luo Zhi, at least not that he can recall. The drama goes back and forth in the past and present of their lives. Luo Zhi wants to forget the past, but Sheng Haui Nan becomes more and more suspicious, and in love with Luo Zhi the more he gets to know her.

Why I recommend this drama:
The ending! That’s the truth. I loved the last episode very much. In real life, life is very unfair sometimes. We meet people, we lose people we loved, and we find our paths in life even if it’s not what we expected. We don’t sign up for half of the things in our lives, but we can pick and choose who we love and how we love ourselves in that process. The ending of the drama depicts this message perfectly.

Luo Zhi never sold her self short and knew when to give up. She gained more at the end of the drama while Sheng Haui Nan faced the reality of his family, himself, and his future. But one thing is made clear, regardless of how much you gain or lose in life people who love you will accept you regardless of your social environment. The ending suggests that Sheng Haui Nan will be okay because they have each other and will make it together by each other’s side.

Why it’s Worth a Try:
The drama can be slow, but the pace is just right. Luo Zhi is a girl who experiences different sides of being in love. From unrequited love to being in love, and holding on to that love and not knowing if she should let go. I love that this drama focuses on why Luo Zhi and Sheng Haui Nan should be with each other and face life than let go because being apart would benefit each other more.
